Medication reminders
Nurtaire schedules reminders on your iPhone based on the medication times you enter. Allow notifications when iOS asks, and check Settings if reminders do not appear. Focus modes, scheduled summaries, and locked-screen preview settings may affect when or how a notification is shown.
From a reminder, you can mark a dose as given, skip it with an optional reason, or snooze it. A schedule is a record-keeping aid; always follow the instructions from the prescribing clinician or pharmacist.
Notes and photos
Use journal entries for the changes you want to remember, such as symptoms, mood, sleep, appetite, or an incident. Photos are optional. Nurtaire stores them with the care record on the device.
If a photo or note contains sensitive information, protect your device and take care before exporting or sharing it.
Appointments and visit summaries
Keep the appointment date, care-team contact, visit reason, questions, and follow-up notes together. Nurtaire can create a PDF summary on your iPhone to help you prepare for a visit or share information with someone you choose.
The PDF is a caregiver’s record, not a clinical assessment. Review it before sharing and use your iPhone’s share sheet to choose the destination.
Importing from Apple Health
Nurtaire can read selected supported measurements from Apple Health if you grant permission. It does not write any data to Health. Imported readings are copied into the selected care profile and remain on your iPhone.
If a measurement does not appear, open iOS Settings and review Nurtaire’s Health permissions. Check that the reading belongs to the person whose profile you selected.
Backups and recovery
A manual backup is encrypted on your iPhone before you save or share it. Use the password or recovery key you created when restoring. Nurtaire cannot reset or recover that secret.
Automatic backup, when enabled, writes an encrypted copy to your personal iCloud Drive when you open Nurtaire, at most once a day. It requires iCloud Drive and your backup password or recovery key. Keep a separate copy of the key somewhere safe.
